Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a multi-use light activated system for destroying P. acne bacterium and affecting the function of overactive sebaceous glands which are a root cause of acne.
What Does It Treat?
Acne on the face and body.
How Does It Work?
Beams of light eliminate acne-causing bacteria without affecting surrounding tissues. The light, emitted from some 2,400 diodes, kills bacteria and gradually clears skin.
Will I feel any discomfort?
No. Protective eyewear will also be provided.
How long does it take?
It takes 20 mins.
Is there any downtime?
No. Makeup can be applied and normal activity can be resumed immediately. This procedure can be done at lunchtime or between errands and work appointments.
What results can I expect?
Acne should clear within 8 sessions.
